Inspiration I gain inspiration from many places in my life, but my biggest and best inspiration comes from the amazing women in my life—my mom, my grandmother, my sister, my girlfriends, my nieces. They are a constant source of love and encouragement, and they inspire me every day in everything I do.

Best advice I once read that success isn’t a goal but a byproduct of doing what you love. If you chase success it will always be out of reach, but if you do what you love then success will naturally follow.

Zodiac sign Aries

Style icon My Grandmother has been my lifelong style icon. She was a supermodel in the 1960s and to this day is the most effortlessly fabulous woman I know. She’s never without her bright pink lipstick and a silk Hermes scarf. She has the most incredible closet, a collection of classics through the ages. I’ve adopted a few vintage pieces from her, like this gorgeous blue and purple Emilio Pucci dress. She also has the most unique jewelry, and she’s collected pieces from all over the world during her travels.

Dream vacation I’ve been dying to go to Iceland and swim in those magical healing hot springs, they look incredible!

I really love ...waking up and snuggling my dog Matey at the start of every day.

Lucky number My lucky number is 14. I was born on April 14th. My mom’s childhood address was 414, which is my birthday. I’m the middle of five children (1 + 4 = 5)….it seems that the number 14 has had a way of following me around in life.

Cause I am most passionate about I am incredibly passionate about animal adoption and animal rights. I adopted my dog, Matey, two years ago and he totally changed my life. I was going through a really hard time when I met Matey, and I could never have imagined what a positive influence he would become in my life. Matey was abused and needed a lot of medical care when I first met him, but fighting alongside him so he could heal and have a chance at a great life is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. There are so many creatures in need that deserve the compassion and the care of a loving owner. I love working with organizations like The Best Friends Animal Society to volunteer for animals in need.

Spirit animal I feel like my spirit animal is a dog. I’ve always loved and connected strongly with dogs. Like a dog, I’m very loyal, I love to snuggle, and I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by love.

Favorite Alex Woo piece My favorite Alex Woo piece is my gold paw necklace which I wear in honor of my sweet little Matey.
