For the ninth year, the NBC Today Show held their free wedding contest where the winning couple received rings, wedding wear, wedding accessories, a ceremony, and a honeymoon. This year, the series, entitled “‘Race to the Altar,” LaDonna and Darnell exchanged “I do’s” live on Rockefeller Plaza and enjoyed an “East Meets West” ceremony theme, with the bride shining in a glamorous silk strapless dress by Priscilla of Boston, the groomsmen decked out in formal navy attire by Hugo Boss, and the bridesmaids in classic, pink Simple Silhouettes dresses. For the honeymoon, the lucky couple got to go on a South Pacific honeymoon to the new St. Regis Bora Bora resort, where they stayed in a private deluxe villa with their own personal butler.

Overjoyed to be asked to be a part of this event, Alex Woo provided a selection of Little Luck Wishbones for the bridesmaids and was teamed with Pink cufflinks for the groomsmen.
