NEW YORK: Jewelry designer Alex Woo has another treasure trove: Henri Bendel’s. Her 18K white and yellow golden goods will officially launch during Bendel's Spring Kickoff Party on Feb 26th.

The Collection “The spring collection is fun, flirty, feminine, and colorful. This season I concentrated on sterling silver with pops of color; tourmalines, apatite, citrines, blue topaz, peridot, amethysts and cherry quartz.” Woo told The Daily.

Known for her colorful semi precious stones designed with a twist, she is also branching out into white, gray, and black pearls.

“The pearls are a whole new direction for me. They are such beautiful stones. They work well because this spring collection is much daintier, more delicate and has more movement than some of my previous collections.”

The Feedback Heidi Cohen, Accessories Buyer at Bendel’s, is a big Woo fan.

“We have carried Alex Woo for 2 years, but only started showcasing jewelry downstairs in the store 2 seasons ago. When we renovated we needed a line that would work with the rotating ready-to-wear on that floor. Her designs are simple, colorful and work with so many types of clothing, she was just perfect.”
