The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service. In addition to the ring, Alex Woo is also generously donating proceeds from the sale of her Little Pink Heart Necklace and Open Heart Pendant. The ring, necklace and pendant commemorate the memory of her mother who died of breast cancer, and encourages everyone, both men and women, to join the fight against breast cancer.
