Alex Woo’s Narissa 14K gold cuff, which was inspired by the wonders of the natural sea, is a luxurious accent for the arm. It is the perfect accessory to match Behnaz Sarafpour’s gold, shimmery, featherlike, beaded dress that donned the runway. The elaborate dress doesn’t need much accessorizing, but for a dramatic and high-fashion look, defintely opt for the Narissa cuff.
Another hot look pick is Alex Woo’s Little Big Number collection which can symbolize a significant date or number. The necklace is available in sterling silver, white/yellow 14K gold and white/yellow 14K gold with diamonds.

Joss Stone wearing Alex Woo's Sienna Cuff!
British soul singer and songwriter’s new album “Introducing Joss Stone” — a mix of warm vintage soul, ’70s-style R&B, Motown girl-group harmonies, and hip-hop grooves, will be released by Virgin Records on March 20th.
In the debut single “Tell Me ‘Bout it’” she can be seen wearing Alex Woo’s Sienna Cuff and Narissa earrings in the video to highlight her brave new look. With four Grammy nominations, this will be her third album. Her first two albums, 2003′s “The Soul Sessions” and 2005′s “Mind, Body & Soul” collectively sold 7.5 million copies but the 19-year-old Stone says “It’s the first album that is truly me… These are my words, and this is who I am as an artist.”
With her first proper tour in nearly three years, the star will be showcasing tracks from her latest album produced largely by Stone’s main musical collaborator, Raphael Saadiq (The Roots, Macy Gray). With lyrics written or co-written by Stone herself, the album also features contributions from Fugees singer Lauryn Hill and rapper Common.

Take these quotes as an example “They had so many servants, and yet I was made to pick up the crumbs the housekeeper left behind after cleaning the kitchen” or “I was told not to spend more than $10 on lunch for myself. Meanwhile, I would take the kids on thousand dollar shopping sprees at FAO Schwarz.”

All that glitters is, in fact, not gold. Here’s how to tell platinum from palladium and get the most out of your jewelry dollars.
Even if you barely know a karat from a carrot, that shouldn’t stop you from acquiring a shiny new bauble (or two). To get what you pay for, however, it helps to know a bit of jewelry jargon. For instance, what’s the difference between 24- and 14-karat gold? And what’s so “sterling” about sterling silver? Industry pros and top jewelry designers answer common questions about precious metals and compare the merits of the most popular types. Now you can be sure that your jewelry purchases are worth their weight in — well, you know.
In the feature story, Alex Woo’s Sienna rings and circle necklace are shown, along with the white gold Narissa earrings as examples of quality jewelry.

IT’S a golden moment in jewelry. In happy news, bling (sequins and beading and rhinestones, oh my) has moved off clothing, replaced by classic accessories that carry both investment and sentimental value. Precious is in style – gold, as opposed to silver – both with stones, or shining on its own. No adornment is left out in the cold. Rings and bracelets have gotten bigger – a cocktail ring as big as your first joint and cuffs or bangles up the arm are de rigueur – while necklaces have become smaller, but are now worn in multiples. An earring with a drop, be it chandelier or a duster, is still hanging on as a trend, and even hair is getting dressed up with its very own jewelry box. Shine on.
