Jewelry designers and Disney seem to make good bedfellows, as a number of collaborations have recently appeared. Here, details on the newest collections.

THE LOOK: Inspired by Disney’s “African Cats” and in celebration of the African Wildlife Foundation’s 50th anniversary this year, Alex Woo designed a pendant necklace, available in sterling silver or 14-karat gold, bedecked with a silhouette of a mother and cub sitting in the bush.

THE STATS: The pieces just hit Henri Bendel and Endless.com.

THE REASON: “As a new mom myself, I wanted to tell the story of the common bond moms share of wanting to protect and nurture their young,” says Woo. “It was a labor of love to do this project.”
