Alex Woo continues to commemorate Disneynature’s African Cats and the 50th Anniversary of the African Wildlife Foundation through an alternate design that captures the same essence found in the African Cats Pendant.

“All mothers share a common bond of wanting to protect and nurture their child as best they can. So that was the story I wanted to tell through my design,” Alex Woo explained about her design.

The solid 14kt Yellow Gold disc has a stylized, etched design featuring the strongest components found in the original version. Imprinted in the disc is a mother cat looking out into the African horizons as her baby cub looks up to her for protection. Also included in Alex’s design is the Acacia tree from the African landscape which is strongly represented in the imagery of the movie’s logo. When all of the elements are strung together, the story of motherhood and the unbreakable bond with one’s children is illustrated in this inspirational disc.

20% of the proceeds will benefit the African Wildlife Foundation whose efforts are in continual conservation of the African wildlife and wetlands.

The pendant hangs on a 18" chain. When worn, the pendant will hang approximately 17" because the chain loops through the piece.
