Christina Applegate, among the famous cancer survivors who underwent a double mastectomy, wore the Tree of Life pendant she designed with Alex Woo.  She has founded Right Action for Women, a foundation to aid those individuals who are at increased risk for breast cancer and do not have insurance or the financial flexibility to cover the high costs associated with breast screenings.
