The downtown club crowd started a new trend by raiding the nearest locksmith for antique Victorian-style keys, often with a rusted or oxidized, almost "dirty" finish, which they put on a cord and dangle around their necks for a modern take on the key to love, life, success, knowledge or any other personal meaning that is key to the one wearing it.  Now jewelers have taken that same key and rendered it in silver, gold or pave diamonds for a more upscale customer.  A perfect example of this new trend can be seen in jewelry designer Alex Woo's Little Luck collection.  She has created a key icon which is available in silver, yellow gold and white/yellow gold with diamonds.
