Vanity Fair Green Treasure

Vainity Fair May 2007

Of the two boys on the cover of Vanity Fair's Green Issue, it's hard to say which one is more irresistible: Leonardo DiCaprio or Knut, the three and a half month old polar bear cub. Featuring a 20-page spread with environmental notables and celebrities, and powerful articles highlighting environmental concerns and eco-power glamour and passion, Vanity Fair's commitment to reporting on the threat to our precious environment is impressive. On the Fanfare page, "Green Treasures" included Alex Woo's Vida Collection, inspired from her trip to the lush rain forests of Costa Rica. Ten percent of the proceeds from each piece goes to support the Natural Resources Defense Council's clean-air efforts.
